This role offers the chance to make a real impact on the education of pupils aged 11–16, providing tailored support for students with various learning needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), physical disabilities, complex needs, behavioural challenges, and speech and language difficulties. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with classroom teachers and senior leadership to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, addressing individual barriers to learning. • Adapt and deliver pre-planned lessons according to the unique educational and emotional needs of each pupil. • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and self-confidence in students. • Assist with classroom organisation, including lesson preparation, resource management, and display creation. • Ensure the safety and well-being of students by adhering to the school’s safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies.
