Accounting Professionals – AI Training
We are looking for Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate cutting‑edge AI models using professional accounting insight. If you have an accounting background, you will complete a quick 10‑ to 15‑minute test to assess your skills and suitability for AI tasks. Successful candidates will be invited to participate in Prolific’s Accounting Projects, where they will get paid to train and evaluate AI models.
Responsibilities
* Document evaluation – reviewing complex financial statements, audit reports, and regulatory filings to ensure data integrity.
* AI model guidance – answering specific questions based on document content to help AI models understand technical or formal language.
* Fact‑checking & validation – ensuring that the outputs generated by AI systems align with professional standards and logical accounting frameworks.
* Knowledge sharing – providing expert feedback to help bridge the gap between human expertise and machine learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Accounting background – degree, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, etc.) or relevant experience as an accountant.
* Attention to detail – ability to review complex documentation and identify key nuances or inaccuracies.
* Critical thinking – an accounting mind capable of providing logical, fact‑based reasoning to support your answers.
* Reliability – ability to work independently on ad‑hoc, remote assignments that fit around your existing commitments.
* PayPal account to receive payment.
Compensation and Working Hours
Researchers pay up to $60 per hour depending on skills and experience level. Tasks typically require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter. You will work from home with flexible hours.
