Job responsibilities The job holder will be required to carry out the following responsibilities, activities, and duties: To exchange specialist information with suppliers to assure equipment is fit for purpose, provides best value and is available to meet business needs To manage the process of securing approvals for the expenditure, liaise with procurement to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner and monitor manufacture and delivery time periods with which to keep CEPRs Users advised of order progress To liaise with Site Engineering to ensure services, environment and delivery needs are provided in a manner that will enable the equipment to operate in accordance with the installation needs and UKHSA engineering processes To evaluate quotations and produce an auditable schedule in evidence of adherence to UKHSAs Standing Financial Instructions To liaise with the administrative function within the department for the placement of orders through the procurement system and the manage the process through authorisation, receipt, acceptance, and delivery to final location The duties/responsibilities listed above describe the post as it is at present and is not intended to be exhaustive.
