Raytheon UK's Courseware and Media Development Capability (CMDC) is looking for Senior Media Leads to support media development for our training materials. This role will be working on a remote basis (working from home).
Main duties include:
1. Effectively managing a team of Developers and tasks across the Media Team.
2. Delegating tasks within the team to leverage skills and develop talent.
3. Collaborating with the Media Leadership team to ensure alignment on quality and direction.
4. Coaching & mentoring media developers and supporting their development.
5. Promoting innovation and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
6. Producing interactive media such as 3D modelling, animation, eLearning, graphics, 3D printing, photography & videography.
7. Developing media and collateral like storyboards, following development processes and standards.
8. Sharing knowledge and ideas proactively within the team.
9. Modeling a professional, proactive attitude and behaviors.
10. Complying with Raytheon and Customer policies.
11. Performing other reasonable tasks and assisting other areas as needed.
12. Ensuring health and safety for oneself and colleagues.
13. Flexibility for travel within the UK may be required.
14. Fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.
The ideal candidate has a background in interactive media design for digital learning, is creative, confident, collaborative, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing projects from start to finish. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential.
Essential requirements:
* Experience in creating media content with proficiency in 3D modelling, Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Articulate 360.
* Qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field at least QCF Level 4 or equivalent.
* Organized, capable of working independently and in fast-paced environments.
* Experience in digital learning or instructional design.
* Ability to interpret technical and non-technical information visually.
* Multi-tasking skills on multiple projects with deadlines.
* Effective communication with stakeholders outside the media team.
* Experience in managing and developing team members.
* Project management experience and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools.
* Eligibility for SC security clearance.
Desirable requirements include advanced qualifications, extensive experience in managing people and projects, expertise in multimedia training development, and knowledge of web standards and QA procedures.
