Curriculum Leader – Motor Vehicle
Location: East Lancashire Region Salary: £44,482 per annum (plus up to £4,000 per annum) Hours: 35 per week Contract: Permanent | Full Time (52 weeks per year) Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday 7 June 2026 Interview Date: TBC
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and student-focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to join a Construction & Motor Vehicle team.
The Motor Vehicle department is dynamic, supportive and forward-thinking, with a clear mission: to shape the future workforce of the automotive industry.
This role offers the chance to lead, innovate and make a real impact—developing both curriculum and people, while driving excellence in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team delivering Motor Vehicle provision
* Oversee quality assurance processes, including internal verification
* Support curriculum planning, development and delivery
* Monitor teaching, learning and assessment standards
* Track and report on student progress, retention and achievement
* Build and maintain strong employer and stakeholder relationships
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the curriculum
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
* A recognised teaching qualification
* Level 3 (or above) Motor Vehicle qualification
* Degree or relevant higher-level/professional qualification (desirable)
* Experience teaching or training within Motor Vehicle (FE or industry)
* Experience managing, mentoring or supporting staff
