Job Description: Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, Ashford

Position Details
* Location: Heath Farm School, Kent, TN27 0AX
* Salary: Up to £30,000 FTE DOE
* Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday - Friday
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only plus two weeks during school holidays
About the Role
You will undergo a preceptorship year under supervision, then work more independently upon competency sign-off. Responsibilities include assessing and treating pupils, delivering therapy in individual and group settings, conducting screenings and assessments, and providing training to staff and other agencies.
You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants, contributing to an environment where pupils can thrive.
Qualifications and Skills
* Speech and Language Therapy BSc (Hons)
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* Strong team collaboration and clinical problem-solving skills
* Ability to assess needs and develop treatment plans
* Good record-keeping and organizational skills
* Motivated, responsible, and reliable
