Job Title: Stock Controller
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee our inventory management process. As a Stock Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are accurately stocked, tracked, and available to support colleagues in line maintenance and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee inventory and control disposal of unsalvageable and expired parts.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, company policy, and Health and Safety regulations.
* Liaise with colleagues to ensure scrap parts are documented and visible to customers.
* Maintain meticulous documentation and monitor shelf life of parts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a large warehouse, ideally in engineering or FMCG but other sectors will be considered.
* Solid understanding of inventory management.
* Top-notch organizational skills.
* IT skills, especially with MAPP.
Working Conditions
This role involves rotating shifts, including early mornings and late evenings. A shift allowance is also provided.
A smooth career history over the last 5 years in the UK is desirable.
