*About the Role*
As an Electrical & Software Engineer at TST, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing the electrical systems and software for our cutting-edge machines. You'll translate customer requirements into high-quality, safe, and robust designs. This role demands both individual expertise and strong team collaboration, often working closely with the Project Manager to procure necessary customer requirements and contributing their own comprehensive documentation to the project.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive electrical design for industrial machinery, adhering to project specifications and safety standards.
* Generate accurate Electrical Bills of Material.
* Develop robust machine control software using the TeSTerFramework.
* Conduct thorough machine debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
* Provide timely and effective onsite and remote customer support.
* Execute machine commissioning and provide comprehensive training to end-users.
* Create and maintain detailed machine documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
*Qualifications*
* *Education*: An Apprenticeship, Level 5 Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Design Engineering or Mechatronics.
* *Language*: Demonstrated B2 level in English language or equivalent.
*Essential Skills, Knowledge & Attitude*
* Proficiency in C# programming, including .NET Framework 4.7+ and .NET Core.
* Experience with desktop application development (WinForms, WPF.)
* Strong foundational knowledge in electronics (digital and analogue.)
* Understanding of pneumatic systems.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
* Availability and willingness to travel abroad as required.
*Advantageous Skills & Experience:*
* Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
* Experience with Vision Systems, such as Keyence, Cognex and OpenCV.
* Knowledge and experience of industrial robotics.
* Understanding of industrial safety standards, including ISO 12100 and ISO 13849.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
