Job Overview
Digital Services Business Manager (DSBM) – field based in Northern England & Scotland. Base salary £39,000‑£40,000 plus bonus up to £7,000‑£15,000. Includes company car and exceptional benefits.
Responsibilities
* Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand digital footprint.
* Drive recruitment of veterinary clinics to the digital recommendation service and increase usage.
* Educate and train veterinary staff on digital systems to ensure continued engagement.
* Effectively manage a territory of up to 750 accounts, including independent and corporate veterinary clinics, hospitals, and charities.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams – Veterinary Business Managers, Marketing, Key Accounts – to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives.
* Represent Royal Canin at trade shows, seminars, and conferences as brand ambassador.
* Gather and report on market intelligence, competitor activity and customer feedback to shape strategy.
Qualifications
* Proactive, results‑driven with passion for digital technology and the veterinary industry.
* Professional qualification in IT, science, or related field.
* Knowledge and experience with digital systems.
* Strong planning, problem‑solving and customer‑focused mindset.
* Excellent presentation, communication and IT skills (proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record.
Desirable Experience
* Proven track record in sales or account management.
* In‑depth knowledge or direct experience of veterinary industry.

Location
Field‑based role covering Northern England and Scotland, across Northeast, Yorkshire & the Humber, Northwest, and parts of Scotland including the Central Belt, Borders, Highlands and Islands.
