The Function
* Supervise the completion of installation projects, overseeing teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring installations are finished on schedule, under budget, and to the necessary standards.
* Organise and oversee installation projects in various locations and areas.
* Coordinate surveyors, installation crews, and subcontractors to guarantee seamless delivery.
* Create project timetables, establish benchmarks, and monitor progress against goals.
* Oversee project budgets and provide reports on expenses, deviations, and projections.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing problems as they arise.
* Ensure installations comply with scheme compliance, TrustMark, and MCS regulations.
* Communicate with clients to update them on project schedules and developments.
* Collaborate with internal teams in sales, compliance, and customer service to align delivery.
* Provide senior management with project status reports.
* Conduct post‑project reviews to record lessons learned and improve future delivery.
* Encourage ongoing development of project management procedures and resources.
Conditions
* Degree in project management, engineering, business, or a related field.
* Knowledge of overseeing projects with multiple stakeholders and due dates.
* Strong planning and organising abilities.
* Capacity to monitor expenses and manage budgets.
* Outstanding communication skills—capable of organising groups and keeping stakeholders informed.
* Problem‑solving mindset adaptable to shifting priorities.
* Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
* Full UK driver’s licence.
* Ability to work in the UK or be eligible for a skilled worker visa.
* Qualifications in project management (PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
* Experience in the building, energy, housing, or home renovation industries.
* Familiarity with government energy programmes (Warm Homes Plan, BUS, ECO).
* Knowledge of the requirements for MCS and TrustMark compliance.
