Mobile Cleaning Supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region
* 40 Hours per week
* 5 over 7 days per week
* 6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs
* £12.71 per hour

Job Introduction
As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) circa 25 sites, AP & Offices within the the East Midlands region. You'll be responsible for supervising teams across several sites, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained to create safe, healthy environments.
This role involves regular interaction with both your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will directly support the quality of life for those living and working within these premises.
Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
What you’ll do:
* Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to complete these effectively and on time.
* You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team in carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks.
* Take responsibility to ensure your and your team’s tasks are carried out within the given timescales.
* Use your initiative to review the impact your team is having on your site, leading to successful client feedback.
* Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products, and appliances, maintaining records for compliance.
* Champion health and safety practices—report near misses to keep colleagues safe!
* Ensure regular safety walks are completed to identify hazards.
* Conduct feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.
What you bring:
* Full UK driving license
* Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and some team leading experience desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
* Team player and able to follow instructions
