Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Milk Delivery Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dairy products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The role involves 3 x 6-8 hour shifts from 1am to 7am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This role requires excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and strong communication abilities to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the smooth operation of our delivery service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer service and safety.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate delivery van, to transport milk and dairy products to customers
* Ensure accurate delivery of products to customers.
* Load and unload deliveries, including heavy lifting of crates or bottles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
* Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues.
* Follow designated routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential.
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Ability to perform moderatly heavy lifting safely.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to follow routes and schedules precisely.
