Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer
We are recruiting for a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established service team. This role offers strong earning potential, varied work, and long-term stability. Engineers at all levels of experience will be considered.
Salary & Benefits
* Basic salary up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Overtime and call‑out required and paid at enhanced rates
* Commission on sales leads generated from new customers introduced by you
* Company van and tools provided
* Work phone provided
Working Hours
* Site hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
* 30‑minute unpaid travel allowance each way
Duties
* Reactive service calls to refrigeration equipment
* Installation work including chiller and freezer rooms, beer cellars, and remote shop display systems
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Reactive fault finding and repairs
* Air conditioning installations
* Preventative maintenance
* Participation in overtime and call‑out rota is required
* All overtime, weekends, bank holidays, and call‑out are paid at enhanced rates
Holiday & Sickness
* 5.6 weeks holiday per year, including bank holidays
* 10 days paid sickness after 12 months’ service
Requirements
* F‑Gas certification is required
* Experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning (all levels considered)
* Strong fault‑finding skills and a professional approach
