The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an Office and Project Manager to join our Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Disease Business. The role would be based in Abbott House, Maidenhead, Berkshire and would report to the General Manager UKI & Nordics.
What You’ll Do
As an Office & Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative support related to purchasing and invoicing, office administration, internal and external events management, and project management. More specifically:
* Primary contact for raising purchase orders and managing invoicing.
* Coordinate vendor agreements including Master Service Agreements and Scope of Works (SOW), and enroll vendors.
* Coordinate approval of expenses with procurement.
* Identify cost-reduction opportunities, manage suppliers, improve quality, review contracts, and enhance procurement processes.
* Set up purchasing procedures to benefit the company in terms of cost reduction, quality, and delivery. Source and negotiate goods at reasonable prices, monitor inventory, and manage purchase contract renewals.
* Schedule, organize, and monitor events such as congresses and business conferences/meetings.
* Arrange travel, hotel, and transportation requirements for customers at business events.
* Manage compliance documentation related to sales activities.
* Handle administrative duties for the General Manager, including expenses and travel arrangements.
* Support onboarding tasks and training for new joiners.
* Coordinate warehousing of sales support materials and ensure controls for managing promotional materials are in place.
* Coordinate key projects as required by the General Manager.
Required qualifications/Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree or diploma
* Relevant experience in a similar administrative role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Excellent interpersonal skills
