Job Opportunity
As our HR Adviser, you will:
* Manage employee relations casework and investigations ensuring they meet best practice requirements and support managers as applicable (this includes organisational change, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and probation).
* Establish monthly HR business partnering meetings with each manager to support and advise on employee relations and share best practice. This includes monitoring attendance (sickness, family leave etc.) and probation and following up any queries.
* Work with the HR Assistant and Recruitment Officer to administer monthly payroll changes and prepare system and payroll records keeping stakeholders appraised of any changes.
* Assist the HR Director with the development or review of HR policy/procedures or other projects as requested
This role is based in our HR team at Strode Park House, Herne, Kent and is a full time, permanent role. We are offering £29,900 per annum to the successful candidate, rising to £30,900 on completion of probation.
Essential Skills
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) in HR Management or have proven and demonstrable HR generalist experience
* Demonstrable experience of managing employee relations cases.
* Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
* Be able to clearly and appropriately communicate both orally and in written form with internal and external stakeholders.
* Have a willingness to travel to our other sites - Canterbury, Rainham and Faversham.
Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you are a driver.
