Job title: CQC Deputy Manager Young Adult Services - Learning Disabilities & Complex NeedsLocation: WolverhamptonContract: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: Up to £36,000 per annum + bonusPara Group is expanding into Young Adult Services, and we are looking for an experienced, ambitious, and values-driven CQC Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager during this exciting new phase of growth.This is a chance to do more than simply support a service it is an opportunity to help shape and develop a high-quality provision from the ground up, supporting young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live safe, fulfilling, and empowering lives.We are seeking a motivated and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering excellent care, supporting staff teams, and helping create services that are person-centred, compliant, and outcomes-focused.About the role: As the CQC Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, helping to ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently maintained.You will play a key role in promoting a positive culture within the service, embedding best practice, and supporting the development of a strong and effective team. You will also act as a role model for staff and support the Registered Manager in driving continuous improvement across the service.You will work closely with senior leaders and the Registered Manager to support Para Groups expansion into Young Adult Services and help create a service recognised for quality, compassion, and positive outcomes.Key responsibilities Support the day-to-day running of the serviceAssist in maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and quality standardsPromote high standards of safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk managementSupport the implementation of policies, procedures, and operational systemsEnsure young adults receive high-quality, person-centred care and supportLead by example and support the development of the staff teamAssist with staff supervision, mentoring, and performance managementPromote a proactive and positive safeguarding cultureSupport continuous improvement and development of the serviceBuild positive relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholdersAbout you You will be a confident and motivated care professional with experience within regulated services and a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young adults.Essential criteria Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent)Previous experience within adult residential careExperience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needsGood understanding of CQC regulations and quality standardsKnowledge of safeguarding and risk management practicesStrong communication, organisational, and leadership skillsFull UK driving licenceDesirable Previous experience in a Senior or Deputy Manager roleExperience supporting the development or improvement of a servicePassion for innovation and service development within young adult careWhy join Para Group?
