To be an effective Operations Manager, you will support the Store Manager and be responsible for overseeing all stock and operational processes for stockroom/warehouse, security, and offices. You will lead and inspire your team to maximize sales, drive efficiencies, and achieve performance targets.

About the Role:
* Support the Store Manager in providing leadership and inspiring your team to perform at their best, including stepping up to cover the store when needed.
* Create an environment focused on delivering excellent service, achieving performance targets, and maintaining accurate stock processes in a commercial, efficient, and safe environment.
* Support the Store Manager in ensuring the store complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
* Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
* Manage manhour control expectations to ensure store processes are efficient.
* Demonstrate a hands-on approach by working alongside the team for operational and commercial activities.
* Show resilience during change and embrace feedback to improve results.
* Ensure effective utilization of security staff and adherence to security procedures.
* Address training, development, and recruitment needs to a high standard.
You are passionate about customers, people, and products. Your energetic approach inspires others and fosters a positive team atmosphere. You possess exceptional commercial and operational understanding, capable of creating a great shopping experience both in-store and online.

Flexibility in working hours is required, including some public holidays and Sundays, in line with business needs. Candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK before employment. This role is not typically suitable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
