Job Title: Head of Wholesale EMEA (Maternity Cover – 12 months, starting February)

Location: London (Central) – Office & Showroom Based

Salary: Competitive basic plus commission

Reporting to: CEO

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Head of Wholesale EMEA (Maternity Cover) to lead the regional wholesale strategy and drive sustainable, profitable growth across wholesale partners, agents, and distributors.

Based in London, this role reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in shaping commercial performance across the region.

This is a hybrid position:

3 days per week office/showroom based, 2 days remote outside of market periods. Showroom days increase during market to support customer appointments.


Key Responsibilities

* Deliver the EMEA wholesale strategy aligned with global commercial objectives
* Lead seasonal sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue delivery
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers, onboarding new strategic partners each season
* Conduct market appointments in London and Paris, ensuring clients’ OTB plans are met
* Drive sell-in and sell-out growth across partners, owning both forward order and in-season business
* Ensure best-in-class brand representation across all accounts
* Oversee third-party agents and distributors in the region
* Identify and secure new business opportunities with aligned partners
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
* Negotiate contracts, trading terms, and annual agreements
* Ensure brand consistency, compliance, and alignment across partners
* Monitor the competitive landscape and share market insights internally
* Deliver weekly KPI analysis and performance reporting
* Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and logistics to ensure a smooth end-to-end sales process
* Support commercial activations including pop-ups, training, and marketing collaborations
* Represent the business professionally at all times


Experience & Skills

* Minimum 7 years’ wholesale experience, including team management
* Strong network and knowledge of the contemporary, athleisure, or luxury market across Europe
* Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised and detail-oriented
* Confident operating in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
* Adaptable and comfortable working within a lean team structure
* Excellent written and verbal English (additional languages a plus)
* Calm under pressure with strong deadline management
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience with B2B platforms (e.g. NuOrder or similar) desirable
* Passion for fashion and brand building
* Flexible to travel
