Salary & Benefits

Up to £53,200 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (paid £2,500 after one month and £2,500 after final probation).

Hours & Contract

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am‑4:30pm. Permanent – 52 weeks.


Position Overview

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team. You will deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention for pupils who may have developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working and support the education team.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain an occupational therapy caseload.
* Deliver assessments and intervention programmes tailored to each pupil.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary education and support teams.
* Participate in staff training, consultation and professional development.
* Report findings and progress in clear, concise documentation.
* Contribute to safeguarding, quality assurance and team meetings.


Essential Criteria

* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up‑to‑date HCPC registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Experience providing occupational therapy services in an educational setting.
* Experience with neurodivergent and/or social‑emotional and mental health needs.
* Sound knowledge of OT theory and practical application to support independence.
* Experience in multi‑professional work with teams or services.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear and concise report writing skills.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferred, but not essential).
