An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with a passion for helping others, to join our Dietetic Administrative and Clerical Team at Keir Hardie Health Park.
The post holder will support the department in the provision of a high quality, comprehensive and efficient administration and support service.
They will liaise and work with the Administration Service Co-ordinator and/or the Dietetic Team Leader to ensure the smooth running of clinical dietetic services such as clinics, home visits and group education.
The post holder will act as a point of contact for users of the service e.g. individuals from inside and outside the University Health Board, patients and members of the public.
* Answer and deal with external and internal telephone calls, dealing appropriately with external and internal telephone enquiries, in a pleasant manner.
* To book new and follow up appointments into home visits/clinics/groups, re-scheduling where required.
* Sending out correspondence to patients and referrers regarding bookings and attendance.
* To access and input data to WPAS and or other specified clinic management systems to support the delivery of clinical one to one and group education appointments in the department
* Undertake archiving of all dietetic patient record cards live and deceased in accordance with University Health Board policy.
* Collect and distribute all internal and external mail for the department.
* General photocopying, filing and appropriate disposal of confidential documents.
Welsh Skills Desirable : This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or 'B1' Level if you've learnt Welsh as an adult). This doesn't mean you have to be fluent or able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being able to hold simple conversations with patients.
