Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only Start Date: September 2026 or sooner Salary: £92 – £115 per day Support children and young people with additional learning needs in a structured and nurturing educational environment. GSL Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students at a specialist provision in Scarborough. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who require additional educational and emotional support, helping them build confidence, improve engagement with learning, and develop positive relationships within school. About the School : This specialist educational setting provides a structured and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 16 years old with a range of additional learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. About the role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning, develop communication and social skills, and build confidence, while working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams to ensure consistent support throughout the school day.
