Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, adhering to any dietary requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of care plans and client progress.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Skills
* Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
