Your Role as a SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with various educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, focusing on their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Utilize flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approaches to tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences to enhance educational and social-emotional growth.
* Document progress through lesson reports and provide constructive feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
Important: You must prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role involves short-term engagements as a Worker, contracted for service.
* Payment will be processed via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers your work with us.
* This is not a self-employed position.
