Service Delivery Manager (SC Cleared / Single UK National)Basingstoke | On-site | £600 per day | Contract
We’re working on a high-profile, secure programme and are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of end-to-end IT service delivery in a mission-critical environment.
This is a fully on-site contract role based in Basingstoke, requiring high-level clearance and Single UK Nationality. You’ll be embedded within a collaborative support team, acting as the key interface between technical teams and the customer, ensuring services are delivered seamlessly, compliantly, and to agreed performance standards.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning the end-to-end delivery of IT services across infrastructure and support functions
* Ensuring services meet agreed SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements
* Acting as the primary point of contact for service performance and delivery
* Leading incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL best practice
* Analysing service performance data, identifying trends, and producing clear reporting
* Driving continuous service improvement using performance data, customer feedback, and new technologies
* Coordinating closely with internal technical teams to resolve issues and deploy improvements
* Managing third-party suppliers and vendors where applicable
* Supporting governance, audit, and compliance activity in a secure environment
What we’re looking for
* Strong background in IT Service Delivery / IT Operations within complex environments
* Solid working knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4 – certification preferred)
* Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or CA Service Desk
* Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
* Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
* Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
Role details
* Contract: Initially through to 31 May 2026
* Rate: £600 per day
* Location: Basingstoke (fully on-site)
* Clearance: High-level clearance required (Single UK National only)
* Working pattern: Monday to Friday
* Start: ASAP
