Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Premises Officer to join our friendly primary school as soon as possible.
Hours: 27.5 hours per week - 5.5 days a day split morning and afternoon (hours may be negotiable for the right candidate).
Contract: 52 weeks per year (full year) permanent contract. The position to be paid in line with Leicestershire County Council Grade 6.
Person specification / Requirements
* Inspiring, with a ‘can do’ attitude, and a team player with excellent communication and motivation skills
* Committed to high standards of Health and Safety
* Determined to develop the school site, undertaking and overseeing the school premises
* Enthusiastic and flexible with a good sense of humour
* Able to relate well to adults and children
* Has knowledge and skills identified in the person specification
* Able to use technology to log data or be willing to undertake training

Main duties
* Open the school each morning during term time and lock up at night
* Supervise the site and maintain and secure the buildings including Health and Safety
* Contribute to the provision of high-quality maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds to ensure staff and children have a safe, comfortable and well-maintained working environment
