Digital Health Change Practitioner

The post holder will work closely with senior stakeholders, reporting through clinical digital governance structures to maximise collaboration, communication and benefit management while minimising duplication. In this role the post holder will support the delivery of the Digital Strategy, the usability and adoption of the electronic health record (EHR), and work with the Chief Nursing Information Officer, Nursing, Midwifery and AHP teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support nurses, midwives and AHPs with the adoption and transformation of Alex Health, the new EHR, other clinical digital systems, digital technology and data utilisation to improve effectiveness, staff experience and patient safety.
* Lead and support staff during the transformation and change programme, ensuring patient safety and effective change management.
* Represent the Chief Nursing Information Officer at relevant professional groups within the trust, across the Integrated Care System (ICS) and nationally.
* Identify, support and lead transformation, change, communications and training across the digital programme, and realise benefits of projects.
* Act as a conduit between digital teams and clinicians, identifying and leading new areas for development and ensuring technology is used effectively.
* Influence and lead the informatics agenda, help teams use data as part of their day‑to‑day work, and support data strategy to improve clinical practice and patient care.
* Attend training and undertake clinical safety officer responsibilities to ensure safe transformation of digital services.
* Develop and support digital champions across the Trust, linking with patient panels so staff and patient needs are integrated into digital health plans.
Qualifications
* Clinically registered and practising NMAHP.
* Evidence of CPD.
* Masters qualification or equivalent experience.
* Clinical safety officer qualification.
* Recognised teaching/mentoring qualification.
* Prince 2 or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Experience of acting as a key contributor to hospital‑based digital programmes including an EHR go‑live.
* Experience of leading projects that have a positive impact across an organisation.
* Experience in leading service development and delivery.
* Professional clinical experience and senior leadership at a peri‑operative environment / endoscopy.
* Experience of delivering training.
* Experience of completing and reviewing audits.
* Previous experience in change management.
