Amazon is seeking experienced Logistics Specialists/Analysts for the Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) team.
AGL is dedicated to building, managing, and operating a global logistics network that enables worldwide selection and delivery of customer orders in a cost-effective manner. The local Amazon Global Logistics team in the EU collaborates closely with worldwide teams to develop carrier strategies, improve product offerings for Sellers, and expand new services. This team also works with local Transportation and Operations teams to leverage existing assets and extend our reach globally. Additionally, the EU team connects with AGL teams in India, US, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, and China to optimize transportation costs and improve delivery metrics.
A Logistics Specialist/Analyst facilitates the flow of information between stakeholders such as Logistics Service Providers (LSP), Sellers, Customs, Product Managers, and Supply Chain teams, resolving issues impacting Seller Experience and delivery performance. They provide timely solutions through research, real-time decision-making, and effective communication via phone or email.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conducting in-depth performance analysis using internal and external data sources.
2. Resolving data integrity issues systematically and following through to ensure resolutions are implemented.
3. Understanding business impacts of trends and making data-driven decisions.
4. Prioritizing and delivering timely updates on key metrics.
5. Visualizing data graphically for easier understanding across teams.
6. Developing automation solutions for reports, tools, and processes.
7. Implementing operational improvements through root cause analysis and solution design.
8. Communicating continually with external (Carriers, Vendors) and internal (FBA, Finance, Support, Fulfillment Centers) customers.
9. Working within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Experience in an operational environment with process understanding and change implementation.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree in relevant fields.
* Experience in Performance Management.
* Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
* Project management experience.
* Skills in SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing, and tools like Minitab, Jump, Tableau, SQL Workbench.
