Role Overview
Join the Event Management Team at Coventry Building Society Arena to achieve successful delivery of Exhibitions and Large Scale Conferences. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Enhancing event standards and increasing incremental sales spend.
2. Working proactively with organisers to ensure successful events for both clients and the venue.
3. Operating and maintaining the venue booking system (iVvy), producing detailed Event Function sheets with high accuracy within set timeframes.
4. Collecting post-event feedback to secure future bookings.
5. Liaising with clients to create detailed Function Sheets and Event Orders for clients and operational teams.
6. Providing information for Exhibition Manuals.
7. Coordinating with onsite and offsite contractors to arrange additional services and drive revenue.
8. Processing documentation and correspondence promptly.
9. Attending pre-event meetings to gather final event details.
10. Ensuring all event documentation is signed and submitted on time.
11. Collaborating with the Health and Safety Manager to complete all H&S documentation within deadlines.
12. Working with operational departments to meet client expectations.
13. Producing profit and loss details for each event to meet profit targets.
14. Representing the department professionally to clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
15. Gathering and circulating post-event feedback.
16. Participating in weekly, planning, and internal meetings.
17. Managing client accounts to promote business growth and rebooking.
18. Handling rebooking of existing exhibitions.
19. Performing any other reasonable duties for the role.
Qualifications

* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
* Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
* Previous event management experience within an exhibition environment.
