The role
Thisisahigh-impactrolewhereyouwillleadfinancialreporting,technicalaccountingandgovernanceacrossacomplexgroupstructure.Youwillactasthego-topersonforreporting,ensuringaccuracy,complianceandbestpractice,whilealsodrivingimprovementsacrossthewiderfinancefunction.
Key responsibilities
* Leadmonthly,quarterlyandannualreportingcycles,includinggroupconsolidation
* Ownstatutoryaccountspreparationandexternalreportingrequirements
* ActasthetechnicalaccountingleadacrossIFRSandUKGAAP
* Overseetaxcompliance,includingVAT,CorporationTaxandotherregulatoryobligations
* Managerelationshipswithexternalauditorsandadvisors
* Supportbudgeting,forecastingandKPIreportingprocesses
* Contributetoacquisitions,financeprojectsandprocessimprovements
* Strengthenfinancialcontrols,governanceandreportingframeworks
About you
* Qualifiedaccountant(ACA,ACCAorCIMA)
* Strongbackgroundinfinancialreportingandtechnicalaccounting
* Experiencewithinamulti-entityorcomplexenvironment
* Workingknowledgeoftaxandcompliancerequirements
* Confidentcommunicatorwiththeabilitytoengagestakeholdersacrossthebusiness
* Proactiveapproachwithafocusoncontinuousimprovement
