Role: CNC Miller Setter / Operator
Location: Walsall WS9
Pay: From £15 per hour
Hours: 07:30-16:30 Mon-Thu, 07:30-14:00 on Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
* Analyse technical drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining methods and sequences.
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls) for precision component production.
* Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards.
* Work with various materials, including Inconel.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues.
* Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining challenges.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience operating CNC machines, preferably milling.
* Proficiency in Fanuc controls (G-code programming).
* Experience with 3 and 4-axis milling operations.
* Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* High attention to detail, precision, and adherence to tolerances.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
