Experienced Social Worker – experience across the child welfare system required.
Extensive child protection and court experience are essential. This includes working in a strength-based way with children and their families to ensure they are safe and able to thrive.
NYC has a defined practice model which is based on systemic principles, signs of safety, and family seeing methodology.
Excellent communication skills, knowledge of childcare legislation, and the ability to work effectively with the child’s network, multi-agency partners, and team colleagues are essential.
Office-based assignment.
Full driver's license and vehicle essential.
Working Hours:
Mon – Thu: 8.30am – 5pm
Fri: 8.30am – 4.30pm
