About This Role:
We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This is your chance to make a real impact!
Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and recommending suitable products and services.
* Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
* Work under the guidance of managers while exercising judgment within defined policies and procedures.
* Develop a deep understanding of our bank products to meet customer needs effectively.
* Engage with customers to demonstrate care and foster strong relationships.
* Provide tailored options for bank products and services.
* Refer customers to other bankers and partners as needed.
* Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
What You’ll Need:
Required Qualifications:
* 6+ months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent through work, training, military experience, or education.
* Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English (if applicable).
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong customer service focus with experience in handling complex transactions.
* Proven ability to engage customers proactively via phone or email.
* Skills in educating customers about technology and mobile banking options.
* Experience in fostering strong customer relationships and collaborating with team members.
* Ability to identify potential fraud and take appropriate actions.
* Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
* Relevant military experience is a plus.
Job Expectations:
* Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Must pass required language assessments (if applicable).
* Maintain cash drawer and handle cash transactions accurately.
