Degree Apprentice Full Stack Developer – 2026 – Watford

Our apprenticeship programme is a great opportunity to study towards a college or university qualification while putting everything you have learnt into action through on-the-job training. You will have the support of mentors who care about your growth, and you will establish a career where you will develop the technical and interpersonal skills to help you succeed and make a lasting impact.
As a Degree Apprentice Full Stack Developer, you will become part of our Digital team. You will learn to design, develop, and maintain software solutions across the full technology stack. You will work alongside full-stack developers, low-code developers, UI/UX designers, and product stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to real projects.
What you'll do:
1. Complete assigned front-end and back-end development tasks under supervision.
2. Collaborate with developers and designers to deliver functional software components.
3. Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality.
4. Learn and apply software development best practices, CI/CD processes, and agile methodologies.
5. Document code and processes clearly for review and team collaboration.
6. Contribute ideas and support team innovation initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role:
7. 120 UCAS Tariff points from 3 A-levels, T-Levels, BTECs or equivalent level 3 qualification.
8. Grades 4-9 in Maths and English Language or their equivalent for us to successfully enrol you on the apprenticeship.
9. Basic programming knowledge in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
10. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
11. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
12. Inquisitive and driven by a passion to grow and innovate.
13. You must have lived in the UK in the last 3 years and have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for an apprenticeship. We are not able to proceed with applications that require visa sponsorship.
14. We are not able to proceed with applications from candidates that have already achieved a degree in a similar discipline.
What qualification will you be studying towards?
You will be studying a level 6 qualification in Digital and Technology Solutions at the University of Hertfordshire -
