Full-Time SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a pupil with special educational needs and disabilities, providing tailored support and helping them thrive both academically and socially.
Role Overview:
* Provide one-to-one support for a child with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum.
* Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
* Help develop the pupil’s confidence, independence, and social skills.
* Liaise with parents, teachers, and the school’s SEND team to track progress and adapt strategies.
We are looking for someone who:
✅ Has experience working with children with SEND (particularly in a 1:1 capacity).
✅ Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
✅ Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✅ Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.

Hours: Full-time, term time only
Contract: Permanent (subject to successful probation)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
