Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products are manufactured and fabricated efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with company guidelines.
* Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools to construct products as per specifications.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any maintenance needs.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Assist in the training of new staff members on operational procedures and safety protocols.
Experience
* Proven mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in a production or assembly setting.
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Experience
* Proven experience as a sign maker, joinery manager, or similar role
* Hands-on experience with machinery used in production processes
* Experience with wrap applications is a strong advantage
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Team player who is punctual
