Benefits and Efficiencies Analyst - 32067
The Environment Agency is committed to an inclusive workforce reflecting the communities we serve. We’re building a Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to drive change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
You will be part of the PMO team, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help identify, value and validate project benefits and support decision-making and risk management across change and transformation.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from your team.
Location: EA Office base with hybrid working; some travel and overnights may be required.

Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio to shape and optimise the project portfolio.
* Help set standards for benefits and value management and embed them across teams.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits to support decision making and risk management.
* Produce guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Collaborate across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; able to work independently and in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion and encouraging others to consider diversity in work.
Additional Information
* Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams in the week commencing 3 November 2025.
