Job Title: SC Cleared Programme Change Manager
Location: Corsham 3 days
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate: Up to £750 per day via an approved umbrella company
Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC clearance process
Our client, a leading defence organisation, is hiring for a reputable client to support the delivery of a critical Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) capability. This programme spans multiple security domains and aims to modernise legacy systems into agile, configurable operational information services aligned with Defence's vision of a Platform (DaaP).
What you'll be doing:
* Manage all proposed and accepted changes to the projects products, including internal demands and external change requests (FCR, ILR).
* Collaborate with MOD and D&IS Change teams to ensure alignment with established processes.
* Engage with Product Owners and the Programme System Design Authority to minimise divergence from the roadmap.
* Support continuous service improvement across the programme.
* Develop and implement a Change Management Policy and Process for the programme
* Capture, triage, and manage Change Requests daily.
* Maintain the programme Change Log weekly.
* Prepare monthly Change Summary Reports for governance meetings.
* Provide quarterly updates on outstanding changes for inclusion in Programme Increments.
* Review and update the Change Management Policy annually to ensure compliance with MOD policies.
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in managing complex change processes within a programme environment.
* Strong understanding of MOD and D&IS change procedures.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, working with Product Owners and senior managers.
* Ability to develop and implement change policies and processes.
* A continuous improvement mindset.
* Organised with strong reporting and documentation skills.
Required skills:
* Experience managing change within large-scale IT or defence programmes.
* Knowledge of MOD change processes and governance.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired skills:
* Familiarity with Programme Increment planning.
* Experience working within security-sensitive environments.
Education & Certifications:
* Relevant professional qualifications in project or change management are advantageous.
