Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Clinical Coding Lead to join their team. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality coding services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately and timely coding of medical records using ICD-10 and OPCS4.
* Resolving coding queries with clinicians and managing complex cases.
* Collaborating with the Clinical Coding Management Team on coding operations, audits, and training programs.
* Leading clinical coding team, improvement projects and enhancing documentation and data quality.
* Mentoring and training junior coders and supporting professional development.
Qualifications:
* National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) and Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status.
* Experience in clinical coding, auditing, and training.
* Strong understanding of clinical terminology, coding standards, and healthcare systems.
Skills:
* Proactive, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
