Lead/Senior Controls EngineerPermanentUK based; office and project travelDo you have experience leading drive and control system projects?Have you taken ownership of functional safety and technical delivery?Are you comfortable supervising engineers and signing off design work?What's in it for youExcellent Salary£6K car allowance10% bonus5% pensionLife assurance 3x salary25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate medicalFlexible working and development programmeWhat will you be doing?Lead delivery of engineering activities across drive and control system projectsOwn the functional safety lifecycle and technical complianceSupervise and mentor engineers and external resourcesReview and verify design documentation and technical deliverablesWork with Project Managers on programme, cost and riskProduce and approve electrical and controls design documentation including FDS, SRS, SLD and cause and effectOversee PLC, HMI, SCADA and drive software designSupport FAT, commissioning and SATMaintain the Technical Construction FileWhere will you be doing it?You will join an established engineering and automation organisation delivering complex industrial projects across multiple sectors with a strong focus on technical standards, innovation and long term project delivery.What will you need?BEng, BSE or Level 6 apprenticeship in Electrical or Electronic EngineeringAt least 4 years in a similar controls or automation engineering roleStrong knowledge of electrical control systems and drivesExperience leading engineers and reviewing technical workUnderstanding of functional safety and project deliveryGood communication and stakeholder skillsProactive and hands on approachImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
