The role
Growth Credit / Venture Debt — Origination | Associate to VP | London
I'm working with a UK growth credit platform that is expanding its origination team.
The firm provides non-dilutive growth capital to VC-backed, high-growth B2B technology companies across sectors including SaaS, fintech, healthtech and deep tech.
Responsibilities
- Source and screen new lending opportunities across the UK technology ecosystem.
- Build and maintain relationships with VCs, founders, advisers, and the wider deal community.
- Structure and support the execution of growth debt facilities.
- Manage transactions from initial outreach through underwriting and credit approval.
- Contribute to portfolio growth and help expand the firm's market presence.
Requirements
- Approximately 2–6 years of experience in venture debt, growth debt, leveraged finance, private credit, debt advisory, or technology-focused banking.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and develop new business opportunities.
- Experience underwriting high-growth, often pre-profit technology companies.
- Strong commercial judgement and analytical capabilities.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
