Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer for an international manufacturing company with a site based in Radcliffe. Our client are global leaders in producing fragrances, supplying some of the biggest brands in the world. This is a permanent full time position and the successful candidate will be joining the marketing team.
Purpose of the role:
To design and produce digital and print materials that align with company branding to showcase our knowledge, expertise and creativity.
Responsibilities:
Participate in briefing sessions to understand the scope of new projects
Work alongside Marketers to develop bespoke designs concepts
Designs trend reports, deciding the most effective layout for images and text and ensuring that branding remains consistent
Prepare mood boards, mock-ups and packaging ideas to support marketing concepts
Assist with the creation of internal branded documents and any other ad hoc design projects
Produce designs for social and print media
Create and design corporate branded artwork for external use (as required)
Liaise with printers and suppliers regarding artwork specifications (as required)
Stay up to date with new and emerging design trends and techniques
Assist with the on-going management of the Fragrance Oils Website
Maintain an effective filing system so that work can be easily accessed
Competencies/requirements:
Experience in graphic design
Creative and detail orientated
Ability to manage multiple design projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
Advanced knowledge of Mac design packages including Photoshop, Adobe & QuarkXpress
Knowledge of MS Office with specific focus on PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM software
