With a working farm, gardens, workshops, and excellent sports facilities, we provide hands-on learning experiences that shape the futures of over 350 students, including 130 boarders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful school with a strong reputation and a dedicated leadership team. Brymore has become one of the most sought-after schools in the area, recognised for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and outstanding pastoral care. Role and responsibilities

We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Manager (Boarding) to join our well-established boarding team. The post involves working closely with, and supporting, the Deputy Head of Boarding in leading, developing, and monitoring all aspects of the pastoral boarding provision.

You will play a key role in managing and coordinating pastoral support for boarders, including the delivery of one-to-one and group interventions designed to improve student wellbeing, engagement, and outcomes. You will provide guidance and leadership to boarding staff and work collaboratively to ensure that students receive consistent, high-quality pastoral care.

The role requires the development of strong working relationships with students, parents and carers, as well as external agencies including social care and mental health services. You will also work closely with colleagues across the school, including tutors, teachers, and support staff, to ensure that all boarders are fully supported to achieve successfully alongside their peers.

Additional responsibilities include managing student files for those on specific support plans, tracking progress, and attending meetings where appropriate. This role requires flexibility, including a willingness to give time in and out of school when necessary, to prioritise student welfare and wellbeing.

You will be expected to take a lead role alongside other boarding staff in ensuring that all boys are in the best possible position to succeed and prosper throughout their time at Brymore.
