Job Purpose:
A 360 role, that incorporates the business' key products (education and skills training, and consultancy services.) To manage a nationwide team of up to 5 regional BDMs, our marketing team, our internal sales team, and to create, maintain and grow relationships with industry stakeholders.
Summary of Post
The post holder will be responsible for working closely with employers and key stakeholders to ensure that our education and skills training and consultancy products are showcased on a nationwide basis. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and implementing a nationwide sales and marketing strategy, and for identifying and building new business opportunities. The role demands high levels of motivation, initiative and product knowledge, along with a data-driven approach to ensure continued sales growth, in line with business targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Be willing to fully adopt, implement and maintain a '360' approach to all business sales and marketing requirements.
Create, implement and maintain a nationwide sales and marketing strategy, which includes a strategic customer engagement plan.
Line management of our sales and marketing team and endorsement of our PDR process to ensure continuous professional development.
Ensure achievement of partner contract KPI's and targets.
Ensure the business has a presence at all key industry events to promote brand awareness.
Implement the full use of the business' existing CRM system.
Develop and drive a data driven approach to sales and marketing.
Establish and build relationships with stakeholders (existing and new) across the sector to optimise sales potential.
Manage broker and partner relationships and initiatives.
Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of our products, programme routes and qualifications in order to communicate effectively the provision offered.
Ensure the business' market position and sustainability is maintained or improved by implementing a competitive pricing strategy.
Achieve pre-determined KPIs and targets.
Attend client meetings, and responding to customer needs.
Regular review of sector priorities, market trends (both local and national), and the adjustment of strategy accordingly.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of funding and grant assistance opportunities, nationally.
To cooperate with other departmental managers, to ensure effective scheduling of training, assessment, and consultancy services.
To ensure optimisation of resources, both human and physical.
The implementation and management of incentive schemes through performance management, for sales and marketing team members.
To coach and mentor team members to ensure their development.
To assume responsibility amongst team members for the following (to the extent that they are within the post holder's control) equal opportunities, health, safety & welfare of team members, safeguarding and prevent, and data protection.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities
Essential
Minimum of GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent (or be willing to work towards achievement).
Full driving licence.
Willingness to travel, and to stay away from home to service our geographical areas of operation.
IT Skills and experience (MS office & CRM software, etc.)
Experience of leading a team and of contributing to strategy development and implementation.
Ability to use data to gain market insight and to initiate and develop business
opportunities.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Construction industry sales and marketing experience.
Experience of working in the independent training provider sector.
Knowledge and understanding of funded qualifications and skills training.
Package: £50k p/a + bonus, circa £65k OTE, Fully expensed company vehicle (or vehicle allowance of £600 p/m + mileage), 22 days leave, rising by 1 day per 3 years' service), (+ 8 x stats), Pension - 5% employee, 3% employer).
