About the Role This firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate with strong experience in IP litigation to join its respected team. You will work closely with senior lawyers and a high-performing group of Associates across multiple offices. You'll be involved in a diverse mix of contentious IP work, spanning trade marks, passing off, copyright, design rights and patents. This position is ideal for someone commercially minded, confident managing matters and keen to grow both legally and professionally in a supportive team. Key Responsibilities Handling and advising on a broad range of contentious IP matters, including: Trade mark and passing off disputes Copyright issues Design right matters Patent-related disputes Managing your own caseload and contributing to the team's wider workflow Offering guidance and support to more junior colleagues Working positively and collaboratively within a motivated and inclusive team Taking part in BD and networking activities to strengthen the team's visibility Building relationships with clients operating in dynamic, brand-focused sectors Requirements At least 5 years' dedicated experience in Intellectual Property within a client-led environment Strong technical grounding in IP law across key contentious areas Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver concise, practical solutions Excellent drafting and communication abilities Solid academic background, ideally with a specialist IP qualification or equivalent experience Proactive interest in business development and marketing A supportive, team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring junior team members A developing client network is beneficial but not necessary Click on the link to apply or contact Antony Setford at G2 Legal for more information.
