Labcorp is seeking a remote Principal IT Project Manager to join our team in the UK.

8:30am – 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
2. Budget & Resource Management: Define resource needs, allocate staff, and track expenditures to keep projects within budget.
3. Strategic Planning & Documentation: Develop detailed project plans, define tasks, and generate documentation for requirements.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of technical subject matter experts, internal business and IT leadership, and external vendors providing regular status reports.
5. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential issues and implement corrective action plans.
6. Vendor Management: Coordinate with sourcing and procurement and external vendors for procurement and implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Technology;
Preferred Qualifications:
8. PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification
Additional Job Standards:
9. Extensive professional experience in IT project management or infrastructure roles
10. Strong communication, leadership, technical proficiency skills (e.g., virtualization, cloud platforms, construction), and proficiency in MS Office.
11. Data center installation, network upgrades, and cloud migration experience desirable.
12. Experience with managing large scale, international infrastructure related projects, including facility expansions, site relocations preferred.
13. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
14. Conduct regular status meetings and present progress reports to leadership.
15. Translate complex technical concepts into business language for stakeholders.

The Infrastructure Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of physical or IT infrastructure projects (e.g., data centers, network upgrades, site construction). The role will define project scope, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mitigate risks to ensure successful, compliant, and timely delivery.
