Main duties
BANK
We have an exciting opportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to support the work of the Acute and Older People\'s Services Therapy teams through a Bank contract. Experience of working as a registered OT in an acute NHS Trust is essential.
Key responsibilities of the position will be to work closely with other health care professionals in assessing, setting treatment programmes and complex discharge planning for patients with multiple pathologies and complex needs.

Person Specification
Experience
 * 18 months experience must have been undertaken in a physical setting within the NHS.
 * Working with older people and medical patients in the acute setting.
 * Working with patients with perceptual and cognitive dysfunction
 * 4 + years experience.
 * Previous experience of the supervision of junior staff.
Skills
 * Multidisciplinary assessment and planning
 * Skills of goal setting

 * Continuing development and Reflective practitioner
