At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry. Marston Green is a $300m+ turnover Repair and Overhaul site employing some 300+ across two operational modules.
We’re looking for a customer first problem solver who can build strong relationships, communicate with clarity and drive real time problem resolution. If this sounds like you there’s an exciting opportunity to join our team at Marston Green as a Customer Account Manager in the Large Engine Value Stream.
What we do:
Be the voice of the customer, Customer Account Managers are responsible for the aftermarket customer interface by maintaining contractual obligations and seeking real time problem resolutions for customer requests within an assigned value stream.
What you will do:
1. Manage a portfolio of Key Customers, representing Marston Green acting as single point of contact for Airlines, Airframers and Engine Manufacturers personnel at all levels.
2. Define and implement a communication plan for represented customers, including status reports, status update calls and a proactive customer visit schedule.
3. Point of Escalation for Customer Complaint Resolution.
4. Act as Voice of the Customer.
5. Support Customer Satisfaction Surveys via the collection of Market Feedback Analysis and manage in accordance with procedure.
6. Implement and manage improvement plans flowing customer feedback.
7. Provide input through standard reporting tools and routes, e.g. S&OP
8. Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas and methodology, in alignment with CORE Principles.
9. Collate background information for customer discount requests – Raise Sales Reduction Request for Approval.
10. Contractual on Time Delivery (OTD) Management.
11. Monthly report out to the Senior Leadership team (PDPR).
12. Value Steam efficiency improvements (Ad hoc projects).
13. Provide support to the Customer / Project Team as and when required
Expectations of the Role:
14. Working Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00 on site. Flexibility required to meet customer needs.

16. Proficiency in a second language (in addition to English) is highly advantageous

Essential Criteria:
20. Prior relevant Customer interfacing experience
21. Strong interpersonal skills with ability for developing and maintaining robust customer relationships
22. Proficient user of MS Office applications suite
23. Excellent communication skills
24. Ability to think creatively
25. A passion to take ownership and deliver
26. Willing to travel and to work flexible hours to support communication across different time zones
27. Ability to prioritise and manage owned tasks.
Desirable Criteria:
28. Customer contract management experience preferred.
29. Airline / Aerospace Industry knowledge preferred.
30. Experience and knowledge of Project Management is desirable
