Primary Teaching Assistant – Durham (DH6)

We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the DH6 area of Durham. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and supporting their learning and development within the primary age range.
The role will include:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Providing small group and one-to-one support to pupils where needed
Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
Helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Demonstrate enthusiasm, patience and a strong commitment to supporting pupils’ progress
Possess good communication and teamwork skills
Hold relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
