Our client is a market leading engineering company due to new business they require a Planner.
The Role
* The role will plan and coordinate maintenance and engineering plans.
* Maintaining efficient performance and engineering products availability.
* Will support the company planning including materials, engineering capabilities and company time lines.
* Ordering stock.
* Forecasting any spares issues and ensuring health and safety documentation.
* Support works order closure when technical issues arise.
* Master data creation.
* Provide general support to business helping to resolve issues and other ad-hoc requests.
The Person
* This role requires a strong understanding of planning and inventory management.
* Engineering knowlage would be benificial.
* It also requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
* A level (or equivalent) business qualification is desirable or proven work experience in a similar role.
* Previous experience within a similar role.
* Knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain KPI’s.
* IT skills i.e. MS Office.
* Customer orientated.
* Ability to organise and prioritise.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Capacity for analytical thinking.
