Main Responsibilities Ensure all trunk vehicles from SC's to the central hubs and back to the SC's are available. Ensure all details of of any driver change / agency drivers are published to the operations team via the daily trunk update document. Take responsibility of organising additional vehicles as required. To maintain contractor files ensuring all compliance documentation is current. Manage cost by identifying areas of efficiency in the trunking network. Encourage and promote positive employee relations throughout the Operation encouraging a "Can Do" attitude Provide administrative assistance to aid the night operation Complete all reports accurately. Ensure all reports are kept to the strict timelines. Administrative tasks during the Day Provide good quality pro-active information for the night and day shift so reporting is of a high standard and all sub-contractors are paid as per SLA. Communicate with all SC's to ensure the Hub is providing high quality service to them and they are conforming to company and customer SLA's each morning. Capture information to supply back and aid with revenue capture/protection Knowledge, Skills & Experience Previous experience in transport preferred Previous experience in the Mail or Distribution industry Understanding of DX Products is preferred but not essential Ability to work on own initiative. Ideas driven and ability to formulate new methods to improve the operation Able to communicate well with people Able to produce reports in a concise manner Knowledge of the UK transport/road network preferred Good monitoring skills. Ability to collate information to forward plan events on the road Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook Personal Specifications Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Self-motivated and able to drive and motivate staff Able to make clear and sound decisions whilst working under pressure Flexible and positive to their approach to operational changes Can do attitude Able to work on own initiative without supervision Forward planner PC literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) ADZN1_UKTJ
